OMLC Poster Award - Call for Posters

We invite PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers to present their research at the OMLC 2026 poster sessions (21–22 May 2026).

The poster sessions offer an excellent opportunity to share your work, receive valuable feedback from peers, and engage with the Dutch and Flemish Operations Management & Logistics community.

The best poster will be awarded the OMLC 2026 Poster Award (€250), with the winner selected by conference participants.

Would you like to present a poster?
Please register before 6 May 2026 by sending an email to beta@tue.nl.
Only registered posters can be displayed and compete for the OMLC 2026 Poster Award.

Poster Guidelines
The format requirements are:

  • A1
  • Portrait orientation

Poster boards and mounting materials will be provided. Please bring your printed poster.

Posters can be set up on 21 May before 11:00 or during the scheduled breaks (12:15–13:30 and 15:00–15:30). The display period runs from 21 May 15:30 to 22 May 13:00. Posters must be removed on 22 May between 13:30 and 16:00.

Poster Sessions

  • 21 May: 17:00–18:00
  • 22 May: 10:30–11:30

Authors are expected to attend both sessions.

Poster Award and Voting
Participants will vote to select the winner of the OMLC 2026 Poster Award, which will be presented on 22 May at the end of the event.

Things to Keep in Mind When Creating Your Poster

Audience
Your poster will be seen by academics and PhD candidates in Operations Management and Logistics, who will also vote for the OMLC 2026 Poster Award. Design your content to suit this audience.

Content
Be clear and concise. Highlight your key findings, insights, and what your research contributes. Focus on what is most important for the audience to take away.

Design
Good visual design is essential. Use white space, high-quality graphics (photos, charts, tables), and a clear layout to help viewers understand your research. Keep text readable and highlight key points responsibly.

Tips

  • Keep titles short and memorable
  • Use fonts large enough to read from a distance
  • Include your name(s), affiliation, and contact information near the title
